It is with deep sadness that we must share that K-9 Culture has been forced to permanently close all business operations due to a sustained, coordinated criminal click-fraud attack that destroyed our ability to operate.
This was not caused by poor performance, lack of clients, or declining business.
Before the attack, K-9 Culture was thriving — expanding our Deluxe Boarding area, planning for long-term growth, and serving a strong, loyal client base with one of the highest-rated reputations in DFW.
Our closure happened only because our business was deliberately targeted by a criminal click fraud campaign designed to drain our advertising budget and cut off our ability to reach Real Clients in need through our online advertising that our company depended on.
What Happened?
Over several months, our online ads were bombarded by massive volumes of fraudulent clicks — from bots, click farms, spoofed devices, and overseas networks.
Fraud-detection data showed that more than 80% of our ad budget was being stolen daily, leaving us with only a fraction of the real customer leads we normally receive.
This attack:

Eliminated genuine leads and inquiries

Created fake appointments

Drained tens of thousands of advertising dollars monthly

Collapsed our revenue

Made it impossible to cover operating costs or pay creditors

And ultimately left us no path to remain in business

No company — no matter how strong — can survive when criminals steal 4 out of every 5 advertising dollars on an ongoing basis.
Why We Could Not Continue
With our entire advertising pipeline hijacked, we were suddenly operating on less than 20% of our normal lead volume. Even with loyal clients and a healthy reputation, the financial destruction was immediate and unrecoverable.
We did not choose to shut down. We were forced to.
This collapse was caused entirely by criminal click-fraud or click farms — not by our performance, quality of service, or business trajectory.

Even though K-9 Culture was forced to close due to the criminal click-fraud attack that destroyed our advertising pipeline and ultimately led to our financial collapse, our passion for helping dogs and their owners has not changed. That part of us is still very much alive.
Charles, Laura, and Wyatt will continue training dogs and helping families from our home environment for H.O.M.E. Dog Training (Habits. Obedience. Manners. Engagement.)
This is not a continuation of K-9 Culture.
It is simply our way of Continuing our life’s work and Serving families who want help with their dogs.
